South of the town Byrkjelo, surrounded by majestic mountains, lies Byrkjelo Camping.

The facility has cabins in several sizes, bathing facilities, parking spaces for motorhomes and caravans, a playground, as well as a large unused area that will be developed further, in addition to our new operating rents.


We are looking for a person who can be responsible for the daily operations and can help to further develop Byrkjelo Camping as a destination.


Here you have a rare opportunity to be involved in further developing a well-run campsite, as well as developing the concept and operation, for further investment.


The activity fluctuates, and we have to adapt our efforts. On busy days and periods of high activity, we staff up and you yourself must be operational and an active part of the operation. We are open day, evening and weekends, and expect you to plan your time so that you are present when needed.


This position will be adapted based on needs and workload. The person who is employed is allowed to set up their own «annual shift».




  • Responsibility for operation of camping, cabins and swimming facilities.

  • Booking.

  • Personnel responsibility.

  • Prepare shift lists and adapt the staffing according to activity.

  • Responsibility for orders.

  • Prepare instructions, routines below and checklists and ensure that they are followed.

  • Responsibility for maintenance of the facility.

  • Development of the concept.


But most important of all, is the responsibility we have for our guests to have a good stay.

  • Good at Norwegian and English, both written and oral.

  • Have the ability and willingness to stand on during periods with many guests.

  • Experience with finance management.
